USAMMA Awards GRSi Three New Task Orders

GRSi has won three new task orders from the Army Medical Material Agency (USAMMA) at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. The tasks support the Army’s efforts to anticipate and respond to the ever-increasing challenges of the global war on terror (GWOT) and Army Transformation.

As part of the Army Campaign Plan (ACP) and Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN), the woman-owned small business will provide logistics support at the Army Depot in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. GRSi will inspect, calibrate, repair, overhaul, and perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on a vast array of medical IT equipment.

USAMMA has also tapped GRSi to perform maintenance cycles on Medical Equipment Sets that are returning from deployment. Those cycles will include technical inspections of new, used, or reconditioned medical equipment; repair of any damaged equipment; and test and overhaul of any equipment that has been in long term storage.

The third task assigned to the Frederick-based company is for Reset Coordination in support of the ACP and ARFORGEN. Performance will entail coordinating Army unit reset actions from initial planning and forecasting, to managing USAMMA reporting requirements with DA G-4/8, Army Sustainment Command, MEDCOM/OTSG, the Army Materiel Command, and FORSCOM. The objective is to ensure program success and compliance with Army Sustainment Command Reset policies.
